How to make the juice

The easiest way to make juice probably is with a juicer but if you don’t have a juicer you can use a strong blender instead. This juice is made with a Ninja Blender and a sieve. First peel the beetroot, apple and carrot and cut into small cubes. Cut a piece of ginger of 2-3 cm and peel it. First blend the apple and carrot with 100 ml of water. Add the beetroots and the ginger, lime juice and fresh mint and give a few more strong blends. If it’s not smooth enough you can add a bit more lime or water. You can either drink it as a smoothie, but if you prefer juice, then use a sieve. Pour the blend into a sieve above your glass. Use a spoon to press the juice through the sieve.

Detox Beetroot Ginger Juice

Ingredients

  • 1 beetroot
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 green apple
  • fresh ginger pressed as much as you like, we used 2 cm
  • 100 ml water
  • 2-3 fresh mint leafs
  • juice of 1½-2 limes

Instructions

  • Peel the beetroot and carrot and cut into small cubes. Cut the apple (without the skin) into cubes .
  • First add the apple, carrot and water to the blender and mix it strong. Add the rest of the ingredients and blend until smooth. You can add more lime or water if it's not smooth enough. If you have a juicer even better.
  • When you don't have a juicer and want to create more juice and less thickness you can use a sieve. Pour the blended mix through a sieve into a glass. Use a spoon to press the juice through the sieve.
